But God
That I May Know Him

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 KJV

Blessed be the name of the Lord.  It is always a blessing just to know that you have all that you need through the Lord Jesus.  Live in expectation with the Lord no matter what it looks like.  Always press on!  Jesus is the way.  He is the truth and He is the life.  Let us feast upon this scripture through the power of the Almighty God.

Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until that day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6 KJV

What God starts He will complete.  He never half does the job.  As Paul was dealing with the saints at Philippi, he was letting them know that the Lord God is going to help them to continue to go forward in the kingdom of God. 

The God who has started a good work in each of us will continue this on throughout our life until the Lord Jesus returns.  The Lord began this good work by what He has done for us by making salvation possible.  When we believed that is when His work started in us.  Now the Holy Spirit lives within us helping us to be more and more like Jesus.  We should strive to be more and more like Jesus every day.

The Holy Spirit helps us to grow in grace day by day.  We should be maturing each and every day.  The Lord will help us to complete what He need for us to do for His kingdom.  God will help you grow in grace until He has completed his work in you.  We have to put our trust in the Lord God.  We have to spend time with the Lord God.  Remember the Lord God will complete what He has begun.
